The spacecraft was going at incredible speeds. From the window, I could see light stretching as we went past each one. I could hear Hank and Hoy laugh from the intense speed. I remained still in my seat, silent but noticeably getting sick from the speed. Right before I could barf, the spacecraft came to a stop outside a large dust cloud.
Hank and Hoy both had a grin on their faces. They could tell that my face showed clear sickness from the trip. "Haha, you'll get used to it." Hank told me.
"We're almost there, we just have to move at a reasonable speed so they don't shoot us down." Hoy said shortly afterwards as he flipped a few more switches above them. I look ahead after my sickness disappeared and was able to focus more clearly. Hank and Hoy began to slowly descend the spacecraft into the dust cloud. I watched, while reaching my hand back to the handle just in case we got shot at.
Eventually, we get past the thick portion of the dust cloud. Inside, it was completely hollow and we were able to see a large energy gate surrounding a parameter. My eyes widened in shock from the size of the gate itself. Giving me a good idea what to expect from the Azorian race. Hank and Hoy remained at a steady pace toward the gate, trying to show the Azorian that we were friendly.
As Hank and Hoy got close enough to the gate entrance. I saw the shape of a figure within a window on the left side of the gate. The gate tower was tall, and had beans of energy come out from above and below it. The energy was more visible at this distance, as I saw that it was a speed surrounding the entire area.
The gate entrance was recognizable, as it was the only part of the wall that just had the energy between the two towers. The rest of the wall was an extremely thick solid concrete wall colored white with black outlines. I look over to the other tower to recognize another outline of a four legged creature through another window. However, the windows appeared to be heavily tinted on both to make it harder to see inside either.
I look over to Hank and Hoy, slightly nervous for what's about to happen. "They aren't going to shoot us down right?" Hank shook his head as his attention remained toward the tower on the left. Silence filled the entire room, and neither of the figures through the window spoke for what seemed like the longest of time. However, the one on the left finally spoke up through a loudspeaker. Allowing us to easily hear the figure despite no sound in space.
"State your identity and purpose for coming here as an outsider." Hoy reached down to the microphone in front of him. Hank held it up in front of Hoy to speak into it. Hoy took a deep breath, before Hank pressed the button to speak.
"Our name is Hank and Hoy, we're from the species of Hunkles. We have an ally who would like to speak with the head of the Azorian force. We do not pose any weapons on board, and would like to gain access to passthrough." Hank released the button, which resulted in silence between the gate and our spacecraft. The silence only grew as we glanced toward each other uncomfortably.
After several minutes of no answer from the gatekeepers. Finally, the figure within the left tower spoke up. Though, the voice was slightly different this time. "You're free to enter, you will be transported by military personnel to the safe point." The voice sounded deeper and more growly than before. That's when the energy of the gate started to disappear between the towers.
Hank and Hoy began pushing the spacecraft forward through the gate opening. As we passed through, two spacecraft looking extremely different to ours came over. One of them got in front of ours, while the other got behind us. The spacecraft had an energy beam connected to ours. Which caused a force field around ours, making the controls of our spacecraft useless. Hank and Hoy pulled their hands away from the controls and put them behind their heads to rest against as they lean back in the chair.
I watched, as the spacecraft in front began pulling the spacecraft forward. Though, we couldn't see what was happening as our view was obstructed. I looked over toward Hank and Hoy, "It looks like my plan worker as intended." Hank and Hoy both nodded in approval. Then, Hank and Hoy got up from their seats and reached down behind their chair to grab their weapons.
Then, they made their way to the back of the spaceship toward some compartments. They slid their weapons into the compartments to hide. Then, they looked over to me. "You should hide your sword, they'll recognize it as Robanian and won't take kindly to it." I reached back behind me to the sword up against my back and the chair.
Pulling it in front of me, I took a closer look at it. Then, an idea struck me. I held up the sword into the air and began to control the energy of it. The sword engulfed the sword entirely with the light blue energy. I pushed a thought into my mind and visioned said thought carefully, "Umbrella." As soon as I did, the energy started to change the appearance of the sword into a black umbrella.
When I saw this with my own two eyes, I was astonished. "Ha!" I looked over to Hank and Hoy with the same expressions as me.
"Impressive!" Hoy said with a surprised tone.
Hank simply mumbled, "hm." A large smile on his face from the sudden shapeshift. "Now you gotta teach me how you did that someday." I chuckled to myself as I closed the umbrella and held it tightly to my side. Hank and Hoy decided to leave their weapons within the compartment. We decided to make our way to the back of the spaceship where the door was.
After many minutes of waiting for the spacecraft to come to a landing. Eventually, we felt the spacecraft rumble as it made contact with the ground. Hank, Hoy and I took deep breaths as we heard the sounds of movement outside. We glanced to each other, but Hank's expression showed confidence. Hoy's on the other hand appeared slightly worried. I looked toward the door, as I heard movement approaching to the back.
I look over to the button on the wall beside me, then press it. Resulting in the door to open up, beginning to lower down to form a ramp to the ground. Instantly, the light filled the spacecraft with a bright light. My eyes flinched as it's been a while since I've seen bright light. Once it was fully open, we saw several furry creatures standing on all fours with armor, looking up to us.
They all appeared to be in a defensive stance, watching as we began to make our way down the ramp. Leaving the spaceship, we saw a star above lighting up everything around us. We could see that we were standing on an airfield. Although, the hangars were much more futuristic and appeared to have spacecrafts within compartments to store in. The hangars were tall, a crane system along the walls to pull out entire rooms and place them onto the ground.
Not only that, but we could also see teleportation stations for the creatures to get around with easily. As well as many spacecraft in the air and going past us. It looked like a futuristic utopia. Though, that's when my attention looked down to the defended lines of the four legged dragons. They looked feral, but their armor and weapons means they weren't wild.
I took a step back and looked over to Hank and Hoy. They glanced back, before reaching a hand out in the air. "We come in peace! It's okay!" Hank says to the crowd of various sizes and styles of dragons surrounding us. Though, none of them put down their weapons.
Eventually, a voice was heard from behind the defended line of dragons. A familiar voice from the speaker at the gate. The dragons within the line took a step to the side to let whoever it was behind them past. "Welcome to Azorian paradise!" As the dragons moved out of the way, I could see who was clearly talking. The dragon was dark green, a blue underbelly, aqua eyes, white claws and horns along his back, two slightly larger horns on his forehead.
I could tell that the dragon wasn't based around a scale dragon, but rather a furry species. It had armor along it's body and legs, but its face wasn't covered. "It's a pleasure to have guests!" They said with a large grin, clearly seeing sharp teeth. "My name is Bellhic Bones. I'm the second in command of the Azorian military." I wave my hand as a greeting.
"Follow, let us take you inside." Bellhic said, as he looked to the other dragons around him. Letting the dragons to feel relaxed and put down their weapons. The dragons came over and started to escort us. Bellhic took the lead, with the other dragons surrounding us. I felt two of them sniff me and the umbrella. One growled up at me, before blowing out of their nose. I felt slightly threatened, but relaxed as the dragons calmed down and focused ahead.
